We will hear from the leadership team of The Giving Block, a company using cryptocurrency to effectively finance nonprofit ventures. Read more about them in their recent Nonprofit Tech for Good article 5 Reasons Why Nonprofits Love Cryptocurrency.
Chief Research Officer Michael Earley will set the stage by giving an overview of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. Next, we will hear from Co-Founder Alex Wilson on how cryptocurrency fundraising rose to prominence and how nonprofits are winning in this arena. Finally, Co-Founder Pat Duffy will illustrate the broader implications for how blockchain and cryptocurrency will transform how nonprofits approach fundraising, transparency and impact.
